GWO Advanced Rescue Training Courses Overview

At RelyOn Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland, we provide both offshore safety training & onshore safety training for the wind and renewables sector. Our GWO Advanced Rescue Training courses are all undertaken at our dedicated GWO ART training centre in Glasgow, the only one of its kind in Scotland.

Through our Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Advanced Rescue training (ART) modules, delegates are taught to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) environment, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.

Upon completion of the GWO ART training course, delegates will be able to access and rescue an injured person from the hub and the nacelle, tower, and basement section of a wind turbine.

This GWO ART training is carried out at our dedicated GWO training centre in Glasgow, the only one of its kind in Central Scotland, offering multiple classrooms, dedicated deep-water pool, full fire training ground complete with training stack and Working at Height structures…ALL ON ONE SITE.

Here’s the full list of our current GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) courses for those entering the renewables sector for the first time, or after a long absence:

Opening in July 2016, RelyOn Glasgow has quickly grown to become the central belt’s largest provider of marine, offshore and renewables safety training.

There are fantastic rail, road and air links to our GWO ART training centre in Clydebank, on the outskirts of Glasgow. Making us the premier choice for GWO Advanced Rescue training courses in Scotland.
