Offshore Refresher Package Course Overview

This OPITO approved course has been specifically designed to meet the Aviation Regulation requirements in the UK and certain international regions.

Package Content:

The CTS Offshore Refresher Package contains the following elements:

FOET with EBS and CA-EBS Combined course

The aim of the FOET training course with EBS (Emergency Breathing System) and CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System) is to allow delegates to practise and establish emergency response skills that are not possible to replicate during drills, exercises and offshore training that take place in the work environment, with particular focus on Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).

ESCAPE CHUTE TRAINING

The Escape Chute Training element consists of practical training and exercises and theoretical input of the required elements as recognised under the mutual acceptance of Basic Safety and Emergency Preparedness. Delegates are assessed in accordance with the OLF curriculum for Additional training for Norwegian sector basic safety

Entry Requirements:

You are required to hold a full OEUK offshore medical and an OEUK ‘Fit to Train’ / ‘Non Fit to Train’ certificate.

Evidence of these documents will need to be produced on the day of training at CTS.

An OPITO-approved BOSIET (with CA-EBS) or BOSIET or TBOSIET, or FOET (with CA-EBS) or FOET or TFOET certificate is also required.

Certification:

All delegates are issued with the above listed OPITO approved certificates upon completion of course.
