Clyde Training Solutions (CTS) were delighted to pick up the award of Chamber Business of the Year at the West Dunbartonshire Working4Business Awards 2018 held on Friday 27th April at Clydebank Town Hall, and hosted by Scottish Comedian Karen Dunbar.
CTS was a finalist in three awards – Most Promising New Business Award, Best Performing Business with more than 25 Employees and Chamber Business of the Year – and it is incredibly satisfying to be recognised in the form of these nominations and award win, in what is only our 2nd year of operation.
Since opening our doors in September 2016, CTS has welcomed over 10,000 delegates through our doors, and are now running approx. 70 courses with a highly-trained staff of 30.
Commenting on the win, General Manager Gareth Mathias stated: “On behalf of CTS, many thanks to the West Dunbartonshire Working4Business Awards for this wonderful award.
“I’m very proud of all our staff for what has been achieved & this award is a credit to them and everyone who has played a part in making Clyde Training Solutions a success, and one that continues to grow.
“We take such pride in operating our state of the art centre right here in Clydebank, serving not only the needs of Glasgow & the Central belt but delegates from much further afield who work within the Marine, Offshore & Renewables sectors.”
Adding to the prestige was the fact that CTS are the first winners of this particular award, sponsored by Ascensos.
Damon Scott, Chief Executive, Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce, commented: “The entries for this broad-ranging category were really strong and it was tough to pick the winner from the 3 finalists that included European Circuits, Turkey Red Media and Clyde Training Solutions.
Ultimately. Clyde Training Solution’s entry impressed our panel of judges most demonstrating effectiveness in business with a clear vision for the future, innovation and the development of new markets.”
The Chamber Business of the Year is an independent award organised by Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce, and the award was open to all Dunbartonshire Chamber Member Businesses based in West Dunbartonshire.
