On March 23rd 2020, Clyde Training Solutions temporarily closed its doors due to the global outbreak of COVID-19. We are pleased to announce, in-line with Government guidance, that we will soon reopen our doors to allow training on-site.
We will begin this process by running a limited number of pre-booked training courses from mid-July. Trainees scheduled to attend those courses have already been notified.
Courses beginning from Monday 3rd August are now open to all and can be booked at our Course Calendar page, or via the menu options at the top of the page.
Anyone who was due to attend a booked training course that was postponed during the centre’s closure will be contacted to discuss alternative dates.
Over and above Government guidance, stringent health and safety measures will be implemented throughout the centre to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19 onsite.
We ask that anyone coming to the centre must before arrival take the time to read our ‘COVID-19 Information Page’, which outlines measures that will be in-place.
CTS Centre Manager, Kris McDonald, said: “At the beginning of 2020 it would have been completely unthinkable that within a few short months our way of life would completely change.
“As with all workplaces, Clyde Training Solutions has adapted to this new environment, and we have implemented sweeping measures to best ensure the health and safety of our staff, delegates, and visitors.
“One example of these measures is the installation of fixed thermal image scanners at our centre entrance that will confirm core body temperatures of all people attempting to enter.
“Whilst we are excited to welcome delegates onsite again, we do promote caution and vigilance until the COVID-19 virus has been fully supressed. Please ensure that in the event you display any signs and symptoms of the virus, you do not attempt to travel to our facilities. Please contact the NHS Direct telephone service on 111 if you are symptomatic.
“Finally, I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank all clients, customers, staff and contractors for your patience during this unprecedented lockdown period. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to our training centre in the near future.”
