Clyde Training Solutions General Manager Gareth Mathias, and his counterpart Matt Horton from sister company Clyde Uniforms, were delighted to represent their respective companies as part of an exhibitor slot at the Oil & Gas UK breakfast briefing at the Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel on Thursday 2 May.
Oil & Gas UK are the trade association for the oil and gas industry, and membership is open to all companies active in the sector, from super majors to large contractor businesses and from independent oil companies to SMEs working in the supply chain.
The focus of the event was ‘The Skills Landscape – 2019 to 2025’, and attendees enjoyed speeches from Mark Cullens, Director of Strategic Development, OPITO and Professor Paul de Leeuw, Director, Oil and Gas Institute, Robert Gordon University, on this most important of topics.
It also represented a platform for both Clyde companies to highlight the services that the organisations can provide, and also to speak directly to representatives of both operators and suppliers.
Both Gareth and Matt found the event informative and productive and look forward to attending similar events in the future.
