Clyde Training Solutions gains GWO Course Approval
Clyde Training Solutions (CTS) are delighted to announce that approval has been gained from GWO (Global Wind Organisation) to run safety courses for personnel working within the renewables industry.
The courses, which will be delivered at our training centre on the outskirts of Glasgow, will comprise of the following elements initially:
- GWO Basic Fire Awareness
- GWO Fire Awareness Refresher
- GWO Basic First Aid
- GWO First Aid Refresher
- GWO Basic Manual Handling
- GWO Manual Handling Refresher
- GWO Basic Sea Survival
- GWO Sea Survival Refresher
It is hoped that the GWO Working at Height course will also be added in due course.
This approval means that CTS is now delivering safety training for personnel across three sectors – Offshore, Marine and Renewables – with approval from industry governing bodies OPTIO, MCA and GWO respectively.
Since opening its doors in Sept 2016, CTS has welcomed over 10,000 delegates and the approval of these courses takes our offering to over 70.
