Change to Basic Sea Survival Training Module

The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) has initiated changes to the course structure of the Basic Sea Survival Training Module.

The course will now last 1-day / 8-hours which is a reduction on the previous 1 ½ days / 12 hours.

As a result of these changes, and to reflect the fact that hours have been reduced, the course will now costs £350 exc. VAT – which represents a significant saving of £100 from the previous course price.

The change also means that the Basic and Refresher versions of the Sea Survival training model will consist of the same content and learning objectives and be completed in the same timeframe.

This also means that Sea Survival training can consist of first time Delegates and refresher Delegates in the same classroom. The training is designed to allow the more experienced Delegates to contribute more actively and share their knowledge with the first time Delegates.

We recommend, however, that all delegates continue to select the appropriate course for them i.e. Basic/Entry or Refresher, to ensure their certificates are marked accordingly.
