Course Overview:

This training is to give seafarers the essential education and training in tanker cargo operations to meet the knowledge, understanding and proficiency requirements set out by the IMO Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping (STCW Code). Table A-V/1-2-1

Course Content:

The training consists of three outcomes:

• The learner knows the properties of liquefied gas and the associated hazards.
• The learner is able to apply health, safety and environmental precautions and measures in working on liquefied gas tankers
• The learner is able to carry out safe liquefied gas tanker cargo operations

Entry Requirements:

No pre-requites to attend Course

* NOTE : On completion of the course where tanker firefighting approved training has already been completed and the Candidate is a Trainee the Training centre will issue an approved MCA Certificate of Proficiency

**NOTE: On completion of the course where the Candidate does not meet the above criteria an approved MCA Certificate of Training will be issued.
